9:36am: We get ready this morning for what I call the chaos birthday. My sister-in-law is holding a birthday for all her four kids at one time today. The kids range in age from 9 to 3. I think there will be almost 40 kids there if you count up all the friends and family for all four. This seems like a profoundly bad idea.
3:07am: the party was a great success and ran quite smoothly. The baby and I are going to have a rest now
11:11pm: A busy day with the party and all. We are staying at my sisters place and I must say my brother-in-law has one of the best man caves I have ever seen. Strewn with computers, electronics and stereo equipment. The photo today is Virginia’s dolphin arm. Lisa is a great face painter and she was pumping out some amazing work at the party today.
We were supposed to go to Yomesite for a few days after the party before we go home, but there are no hotels available and I read now there is a massive fire near the entrance to Yosemite. Power has been shut down to most of the park and I would imagine there is a ton of smoke around the area. Not sure what we’re going to do now. Sucks because I was looking forward to getting back to Yomesite.
